The Swedish prosecutor's office on Monday charged a man with espionage against Sweden and the United States on behalf of Russia. The police arrested Sergey Skovrtsov in November in the suburbs of Stockholm, along with another individual who was released shortly after. The indictment states that Skovrtsov, 60, engaged in illegal intelligence activities against both countries between 2013 and 2022. His lawyer stated that he denies all charges.
