The Sudanese army stated today, Thursday, that its delegation "in the negotiations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia has returned to Sudan for consultation." In a statement, it said: "The delegation will be ready to continue the discussions whenever they are resumed after overcoming the obstacles." It added: "The disagreement over issues including the evacuation of rebels from citizens' homes in all areas of the capital, and the evacuation of service facilities, hospitals, and roads, has led to the failure to reach a ceasefire agreement."
