Lebanese MP Sami Gemayel recently addressed the ongoing security issues facing the nation, stating, "We are on the brink of significant security developments in the region and the south."
Gemayel added, "The issue of tunnels is not a myth but a reality. Therefore, our goal is to protect the Lebanese from 'Ali Tahir 2, 3, and 4, and from 'Ali Tahir' in other Lebanese areas."
He continued, "If the state doesn't do its job, this conflict may expand, leading the United States and Israel to negotiate with illegitimate forces at the expense of the state and all Lebanese."
