Guardiola: Players Are Exhausted Before Facing Sheffield United

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola, after his team eliminated Bayern Munich from the UEFA Champions League yesterday, indicated that his players feel exhausted before the FA Cup semi-final match against Sheffield United at Wembley this Saturday. He said, "It's extremely difficult, so I don't know how we will approach the match," noting that defender Nathan Aké will undergo tests later today to assess a suspected injury to his hamstring after leaving the field in the second half against Bayern Munich. City drew 1-1 with Bayern in Munich in the return leg of the quarter-finals, winning 4-1 on aggregate, and qualified for the final of the continent's top tournament for the third consecutive season. The Premier League champions will meet Real Madrid before the semi-final. Guardiola's team is also looking to retain the Premier League title, trailing four points behind leaders Arsenal, with a game in hand.
