China Launches Rocket Carrying Satellite; Taiwan Unaffected

A live broadcast from the Chinese Meteorological Administration showed that China launched a rocket carrying a weather satellite on Sunday morning. Meanwhile, Taiwan's Ministry of Defense announced that some debris from the rocket, launched to deploy a Chinese satellite, fell into the "warning area" in the waters north of Taiwan, but it did not affect the safety of the island's territory.
