Title: Army: Arrest of Two Individuals for Various Crimes

The following statement was issued by the Army Command - Directorate of Guidance: "On September 6, 2023, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested (M.G.) in the town of Al-Bzaliya in the Beqaa Valley for engaging in drug trafficking, and seized a war pistol and approximately 60 kg of hashish in his possession. On September 7, 2023, a patrol from the Directorate arrested (A.Z.) in the Al-Jamous area in the southern suburbs, who was wanted for drug abuse and trafficking, extortion, instigating problems, and gunfire. A quantity of narcotic pills and a sum of money were seized from him. The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the arrested individuals are underway under the supervision of the relevant judiciary."
