Closure of Food Storage Warehouse in Bir Hassan Due to Infestation

A statement from the Ghobieri municipality announced that health inspectors, as part of efforts to protect public health and safety and prevent food poisoning cases, closed a food storage warehouse (Alyan Food Warehouse) belonging to an individual identified as (M.A.) in the Bir Hassan area near the Kuwaiti embassy. The closure was due to the warehouse's failure to meet any health conditions (flooring, ceilings, walls, bases for goods, fire extinguishers, lighting, ventilation, etc.), along with a significant presence of insects and rodents. Additionally, there were damaged goods present. The closure was carried out with the assistance of municipal police and state security, and all spoiled goods were destroyed. The owner of the warehouse committed to emptying the premises within 24 hours.
