Tel Aviv Evacuates Its Embassies in Bahrain, Jordan, Morocco, Egypt, and Turkey

The Hebrew channel "Kan" reported today that Israel has evacuated its embassies in the Middle East, including those in Bahrain, Jordan, Morocco, Egypt, and Turkey. On Wednesday, Israel asked its citizens to leave Turkey as soon as possible due to angry protests outside the Israeli embassy in Ankara following the bombing of a Baptist hospital. Additionally, Israel postponed the departure of its embassy staff in Morocco and Egypt. The Israeli National Security Council justified the evacuation request by citing "increasing threats against Israelis abroad," warning Israelis against traveling to Turkey.
