Title: Israel Announces Failed Attempt to Launch Missile from the West Bank

The Israeli military revealed that it "witnessed a failed attempt to launch a missile from the occupied West Bank." An armed group affiliated with Hamas, calling itself "Alaa al-Ayyash Brigades," claimed responsibility for the launch. Attempts to launch missiles from the West Bank are rare; however, the past few months have seen a slight increase in such attempts. Earlier this year, the military stated that two missiles were launched from the city of Jenin in the West Bank and fell within Palestinian territories.
