Pirelli to End World Rally Championship Tire Supply Contract After 2024

The Italian company Pirelli announced on Saturday its intention to end its tire supply contract for the World Rally Championship after the 2024 season. The company, the only one supplying tires to Formula 1 teams, stated that it has "achieved the goals it set three years ago." It emphasized its commitment to rally racing and mentioned that it will "continue to engage in other competitions in which it is currently involved, including the European Rally Championship." Unlike the World Rally Championship, multiple companies supply tires for the European Championship.
