The wife of Egyptian champion Mamdouh Elssbiay, known as "Big Rami," revealed her shock at the news of her husband's second marriage and his trip abroad with his new bride for their honeymoon. Marwa Al-Magharebi expressed her surprise at the circulating photos, of which she was unaware and knows nothing about their authenticity. She told the website "Huna": "What pictures? What marriage? I haven't seen anything and I don't know anything, nor do I have any information that he got married again."
On his part, Mohamed Elssbiay, "Big Rami's" brother, stated that the wife of the Mr. Olympia champion learned about the news after it was published in the media, and since then, she has been in a state of great shock. He added in statements to "Cairo 24" that "Big Rami's first wife, like any Egyptian wife whose husband married again, found it extremely difficult to receive the news of her husband's marriage."
Big Rami has three daughters with his first wife, Marwa Al-Magharebi: Lujain, 9 years old; Daryn, 7 years old; and Aisha, 3 years old. Meanwhile, Big Rami's cousin, Mohamed Al-Sebai, defended his second marriage, stating: "It is his legal right to marry, and he has not done anything forbidden by God or that would anger Him because he married legally." Previously, Marwa Al-Magharebi spoke about her husband, saying: "He is very good, and if he has a competition and someone asks for his help, he helps them first and does not delay anyone; what he has is for others, not just for him. He has gone through many situations and managed to stand on his feet again, focusing on his goal and dream."
