Minister of Agriculture: Beirut was and will remain the capital of Arab openness and convergence

The acting head of the Sudanese embassy in Lebanon, Sara Idris, proposed during her meeting with Minister of Agriculture in the caretaker government, Abbas Al-Hajj Hassan, to host a conference in Beirut to support Sudan attended by Arab economists. For his part, Al-Hajj Hassan appreciated this request and affirmed that "Beirut was and will remain the capital of Arab openness and convergence." He wished for harmony for the Sudanese people, hoping that "things will return to how they were before." The general conditions in Lebanon and the region, as well as the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Sudan, especially in the agricultural sector, were discussed.
