The right-wing Likud party, led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, announced today, Saturday, that opposition politician Avigdor Lieberman will join the Israeli security cabinet, expanding the emergency unity government formed after the deadly attack carried out by Hamas. Last week, the National Unity Party, which belongs to the center and is led by former Defense Minister Benny Gantz, agreed to form a unity government with Netanyahu and his right-wing coalition partners to address the crisis triggered by Hamas's unprecedented attack on Israel.
