Operation of the First Flight from Cairo to Port Sudan

EgyptAir has announced that it will operate its first direct flight from Cairo to Port Sudan starting September 1st, as reported by the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation on Tuesday. This decision comes after Sudanese authorities reopened the airspace in the eastern sector of the country, which had been completely closed since April 15th following the outbreak of war. Since then, humanitarian flights and evacuation flights have been operating from Port Sudan Airport on the Red Sea coast.
