The German Foreign Ministry stated today that it "carefully reviewed humanitarian aid payments directed to the Palestinian territories," finding no misuse. The ministry said, "The review of humanitarian aid directed to the Palestinians has concluded, and there were no issues regarding the potential for indirect assistance to terrorist organizations." Germany has provided humanitarian aid totaling approximately 161 million euros (175.6 million dollars) to the population in the Palestinian territories.
