The Wall Street Journal reported today, Thursday, that "Japan is in talks to provide the United States with artillery shells to bolster stockpiles for Ukraine's counteroffensive against Russian forces." The newspaper added, "Tokyo is considering supplying Washington with 155mm artillery shells under an agreement made in 2016 for ammunition sharing as part of a long-term security alliance between the two countries."
