Analyst Mark Gurman, in his recent report published by Bloomberg, indicated that Apple has begun working on a new generation of iPad Air devices. The company is preparing to launch new Mac models featuring the M3 chip next October, which Gurman confirmed in his report, also noting that Apple will not release new iPad models this year.
The report outlined Apple's plans to support the sixth generation of iPad Air with significant specification upgrades, intending to introduce this model in early 2024. While some projections suggest that Apple plans to update iPad devices next October, these releases are not expected to include major specification upgrades.
Apple is also set to support iPad Pro models next year with an OLED display and an M3 chip based on 3-nanometer manufacturing technology. Gurman explained that Apple is developing a new generation of iPad Air, but he did not provide specific details about the specifications of this model; however, expectations confirm that it will include upgrades over the previous version.
It is worth noting that Apple introduced the iPad Air in 2022, featuring the M1 chip and a 12-megapixel front camera, along with Center Stage functionality and support for 5G connectivity.
