Israeli Army Announces Commencement of Ground Attack on Gaza

Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari announced that the Israeli army has begun attacking military "targets" belonging to Hamas throughout Gaza and has initiated the ground assault. Hagari confirmed that the Israeli army is currently attacking military targets of the "Hamas" organization across the Gaza Strip in a large-scale operation. IDF forces are preparing to expand the attack. IDF fighters have engaged in battles in recent days with terrorists in various settlements and positions throughout the Gaza perimeter, acting with courage and determination to regain control of the area and have seized numerous weapons in the possession of the terrorists while evacuating injured individuals.
