Expected Disruption in Summer Flights Due to Strike at Gatwick Airport

Workers at Gatwick Airport, the second largest airport in the UK, are organizing an eight-day strike at the end of July and early August, which could lead to flight cancellations and travel disruptions for thousands of passengers during one of the busiest times of the year in summer travel. The union added in a statement: "Due to the scale of the strike, disruptions, delays, or cancellations (of flights) are unavoidable at the airport."
