The New York Post has revealed details of the intensely private life of Barron Trump, the youngest son of former U.S. President Donald Trump. The report highlights how Barron, now 20, prefers to remain within what is described as his 'safe bubble,' while being heavily guarded.
A source mentioned that Barron 'barely goes anywhere,' spending most of his summer with his mother, Melania Trump, at the Bedminster golf club in New Jersey.
Another source described Barron's life as rather isolated. It was noted that he prefers to work away from the spotlight, even in his business ventures, which involve cryptocurrency investments and an herbal energy drink project.
According to the report, Barron enjoys private spaces within several Trump family residences, including a suite at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, a floor in Trump Tower in Manhattan, and a private room at the White House.
The newspaper noted that upon reaching these locations, Barron tends to retreat to his private areas, avoiding public spaces. This behavior has been partly attributed to the security measures surrounding him.
Security concerns surrounding Barron reportedly increased after the U.S. Secret Service learned about an Iranian state TV broadcast discussing a potential plot against the President's son, with a financial reward for his assassination.
However, the Iranian Supreme National Security Council's secretary denied these allegations, dismissing them as attempts to tarnish Iran’s image.
In December 2025, TMZ reported that Secret Service agents accompany Barron round-the-clock, which significantly restricts his ability to have a conventional college life.
Given these constraints, reports suggest that Barron resorts to video games to connect with peers, asking for their gaming and chat platform IDs to play online together.
Barron has drawn increasing media attention since appearing alongside his parents during his father's inauguration in January 2025. Yet, he has largely stayed out of public events and media interviews.
This report underscores the contrast between the public stature of the Trump family and the highly private life Barron strives to maintain, especially as security considerations make avoiding the spotlight more challenging.
