Information has emerged about a meeting between caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati and former MP Walid Jumblatt, as part of efforts to resolve what can be termed the "Druze impasse," specifically regarding the replacement of the Minister of Displaced Persons, Issam Sharfeddine, whom former Minister Arslane insists on naming, while Jumblatt opposes this, arguing that Arslane lacks representational legitimacy. Additionally, Jumblatt has a desire to name a replacement for Minister Abbas Halabi in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Informed sources told "Al-Liwaa" that there are communications underway regarding the governmental file, which they describe as the "last cartridge." They noted that it is not possible to speak of optimism since the efforts have not reached their conclusions. These sources observed that the movement is taking place quickly, but there are concerns about recurring old details that hinder renewed efforts.
