Kuwaiti Oil Minister Saad Al-Barak indicated to "Sky News" Arabic today, Thursday, that "Kuwait will begin exploration and production in the Durra field without waiting for border demarcation with Iran." Previously, Al-Barak stated that "Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have exclusive rights to the Durra gas field in the Gulf," and called on Iran to "begin delineating its maritime boundaries first to confirm its claims in the field."
