Russia has lodged a complaint with the United Nations concerning American biological laboratories in Ukraine, presenting compelling evidence of these activities gathered by the Russian side in Ukraine. In two letters sent by Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, on Wednesday, to the UN Secretary-General and the President of the UN Security Council, it was stated that "under Article 6 of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention, Russia officially presents a complaint to the Security Council, including all possible evidence that justifies this complaint."
The letter further indicated that Russia "once again requests a session of the UN Security Council on October 27, 2022, to discuss the proposed draft resolution." Nebenzya clarified that the draft resolution "aims to establish a committee to investigate the accusations made by the Russian side against Washington and Kyiv regarding the operation of biological laboratories in Ukraine." Moscow expects the committee to uncover all details pertaining to Washington and Kyiv's adherence to the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention.
Russia reiterated its accusations against Ukraine at the UN Security Council regarding the production of a "dirty bomb," stating that it "questions" the capability of inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency to prove otherwise, claims that Kyiv and the West have denied, according to diplomatic sources.
