A massive fire broke out in an industrial complex in the city of Bursa, northwestern Turkey, and spread to surrounding facilities. The fire, fueled by the winds, engulfed about 10 factories producing textiles and other goods. Fire trucks and more than 100 firefighters rushed to İnegöl and the surrounding areas of the incident, with aviation also participating in firefighting operations.
Bursa Governor Yakup Canbolat stated that "a large number of teams have been dispatched to the area and are continuing to work to extinguish the flames." He noted that "the flames are increasing," and mentioned that "in the preliminary assessment, there is currently no one in the factories," indicating that there have been no reports of injuries so far.
