Video: Hungry Bear Breaks into Bakery and Devours 60 Cupcakes

A hungry black bear broke into a bakery in Connecticut, USA, causing panic among the workers, but no one was harmed. The bear devoured 60 cupcakes before returning to the wild. Bakery workers were loading the treats into a truck on Wednesday when the bear appeared. According to the state's environmental agency, there are between 1,000 and 1,200 black bears in Connecticut, and they were sighted in 158 out of 169 towns and cities last year. Surveillance footage shows bakery workers trying to scare the bear away, but when they failed, they fled in fear. The video also captures the bear carrying cupcakes from the truck to the parking lot, devouring 60 of them. Eventually, the bear was prompted to leave by the sound of a car horn.
