Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed today that he discussed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in a phone call, the Ukrainian peace formula, food security, and the situation in the Middle East. Zelensky wrote via the Telegram app, "We discussed the next round of negotiations on the peace formula that will take place in Malta. Turkey will participate to add its reliable voice and position." He added, "We also discussed the situation in the Middle East and agreed on the necessity to ensure the protection of civilians and respect for humanitarian law."
