The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement: "On July 29, 2023, two PUMA helicopters from the Air Force took off from Hamat Airport with a team of 13 members, including officers, non-commissioned officers, and technicians, and headed to a military airport in Rhodes, Greece, to assist the Greek authorities in firefighting efforts."
