Apple Launches New

Apple announced today, Monday, an update to its lineup of personal and portable computers running macOS using its own custom CPU chips. The company revealed a 15-inch "MacBook Air" powered by the M2 chip designed by Apple. The new laptop, equipped with six speakers, starts at a price of $1,299 and will be available in stores next week. The 13-inch "MacBook Air" is priced at $1,099. Apple has also updated its desktop computer, the "Mac Studio," stating that the new Ultra M2 chip can handle artificial intelligence programs that competing chips lack sufficient memory to manage. Additionally, Apple introduced a new version of the "Mac Pro," its highest performance desktop, which is also equipped with the Ultra M2 chip and starts at a price of $6,999. The Ultra M2 chip is essentially two combined chips from Apple's larger M2 chips, a method Apple used to enhance the performance of its M1 chips.
