Six Groups of Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque Courtyards

Six groups of settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the protection of the Israeli police, who secured their entry from the Mughrabi Gate to the Al-Aqsa courtyard and then to the Chain Gate, which is closest to the Buraq Wall. At the same time, several worshippers inside the mosque closed the doors in fear of a repeat of similar incursions that had occurred days earlier, while some devotees remained in the mosque courtyards to protect it.

It is noted that the settlers are celebrating "Blessing of the Priests" today, which is part of the Jewish holidays, while Christians are celebrating Palm Sunday. The Old City of Jerusalem is experiencing a state of tension due to the strict military measures imposed by the Israeli police, on the eve of the celebratory ceremonies for Jews in the Buraq Plaza, marking the occasion of the "Passover." The police have transformed Jerusalem into a military camp and set up barriers within the walls of the Old City, clearing the streets of young men in preparation for the settlers' incursion. They prevented young men from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque and directed them towards the Lion's Gate, while elements of the "Border Guard" assaulted young men at the gates of Al-Aqsa.
