Ukraine: We Have Regained Control of Offshore Drilling Platforms Near Crimea

Ukrainian military intelligence stated on Monday that "Ukrainian forces have regained control of offshore platforms for gas and oil exploration near the Crimean Peninsula." The intelligence reported via the Telegram app that "Kyiv's forces regained control of drilling platforms known as the 'Boyko Towers' from Russia in a unique mission." It said, "For Ukraine, regaining control of the 'Boyko Towers' is of strategic significance, and as a result, Russia has lost the ability to use them for military purposes." It added, "Russia has been deprived of full control over the Black Sea waters, which brings Ukraine closer to reclaiming Crimea."
