The President of the Italian defense and aerospace group Leonardo announced today that the fighter jet project of the Global Air Combat Program includes the UK, Japan, and Italy, but does not include Saudi Arabia. The CEO of the group, Roberto Sigona, made these statements in response to a question about the possibility of Saudi Arabia joining the project. He told Reuters on the sidelines of a business conference in Rome: "The program includes the UK, Japan, and Italy only. There is nothing else at the moment."
