Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received Egyptian Ambassador Yasser Alawi at the second presidential office in Ain al-Tineh for a farewell visit on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic duties as ambassador to Lebanon. Berri presented Ambassador Alawi with a plaque from the Parliament as a token of appreciation for his efforts.
Berri also welcomed Argentine Ambassador Mauricio Alice in a farewell visit following the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in Lebanon.
In the afternoon, Speaker Berri met with member of the Democratic Gathering, MP Wael Abu Faour, where they discussed the general situation, the latest political developments, and legislative matters.
