The Sudanese army announced today, Wednesday, that it "has accepted an invitation to resume negotiations with the Rapid Support Forces in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia." A statement from the General Command of the Sudanese Armed Forces indicated, "We accepted the invitation to go to Jeddah to complete what was previously agreed upon... resuming negotiations does not mean the end of the battle for national dignity."
