The semi-official Tasnim news agency reported today that "Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has officially invited UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to visit Tehran in the near future." In April, Iran appointed its first ambassador to the UAE since 2016, amid a realignment of relations between Gulf countries and Iran.
