Apple has pledged to resolve the significant overheating issue in iPhone 15 devices when using popular applications such as Uber and Instagram. The company, based in Cupertino, California, announced on Saturday that it is working on an update for iOS 17, the operating system powering the iPhone 15 lineup, to prevent the devices from overheating uncomfortably. In a brief statement reviewed by the Associated Press, the company did not provide a timeline for the software fix. Apple also mentioned that it is collaborating with the app providers that caused the problems, adding that Instagram modified its app for iPhones this week.
