On Sunday, Israeli authorities released prisoner Ashraf Al-Safadi from the town of Aourif, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, after he spent 21 years in Israeli prisons. Al-Safadi (51 years old) was released from the Negev Desert prison, and a number of his relatives and friends welcomed him at the al-Dhahiriya crossing south of Hebron.
Al-Safadi is married and became a father ten years ago. He was able to complete his education during his imprisonment and obtained a bachelor's degree.
