The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated today, Monday, that China will strive to restore peace in the Palestinian territories to the best of its ability during its presidency of the United Nations Security Council. Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said at a press conference that China will build consensus and adopt responsible and effective measures as soon as possible to ease the current crisis.
