The General Directorate of General Security reminded "citizens, companies, and Arab and foreign nationals of the necessity to adhere to the regulations and laws, and not to employ foreign workers in violation of the entry, residency, and labor laws, whether they are illegally entering, in violation of residency and labor laws, or registered under a fictitious employer while working for themselves. Therefore, the Directorate warned in a statement issued by the Media Affairs Office "that these actions are contrary to the laws, regulations, and instructions, and they must expedite the regularization of the status of the Arab and foreign workers present with them, and not to employ or shelter any violators under the threat of legal prosecution, as well as to take the appropriate administrative measures and precautionary measures, and to charge them all fees due for their periods of work with them and for previous violations, as well as to secure the necessities and costs of returning them to their countries."
