Member of the "Development and Liberation" bloc, MP Qassem Hashim, clarified that "what happened is natural due to the differences in viewpoints regarding the vacancy in the army leadership." He confirmed in an interview with "Voice of Lebanon" the bloc's commitment to avoiding a vacuum and reinforcing stability in the security institution that instills confidence in everyone, emphasizing that they are in favor of consensus to prevent the vacancy. He pointed out that "there is a balance in all proposed options." He noted that "consultations are ongoing on how to reach a solution within the government."
