Death of a Citizen from Suffocation in Akkar

Citizen Abd al-Qadir Hasan Abd al-Qadir died from suffocation after igniting dry grass on his land in the town of Al-Qurna - Akkar. The flames spread to a neighboring agricultural land, and while trying to extinguish the fire, he was surrounded by the flames, which caused his suffocation and completely burned his body.

Immediately, security forces arrived at the scene and launched an investigation into the incident, while Red Cross paramedics transported the body to the hospital.
