Wall Street Opens Lower

Wall Street opened lower on Wednesday, impacted by a report that "the United States may limit sales of AI chips to China," while investors await a speech from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell for clues on interest rate expectations. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by 45.36 points or 0.13% to 33,881.38 points at the open, while the S&P 500 index fell by 10.93 points or 0.25% to 4,367.48 points. The Nasdaq Composite index also decreased by 49.66 points or 0.37% to 13,506.02 points.
