The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that its air forces carried out new strikes in northern Iraq today, Tuesday, destroying 16 targets belonging to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). The strikes targeted the regions of Metina, Jara, Hakurk, Qandil, and Asos in northern Iraq at 8 PM (1700 GMT). The ministry stated that it took all necessary precautions to avoid harming civilians and the environment.
