Since the early hours of dawn, reinforced units from the striking forces of the army, supported by mechanized military units, have acted to secure the entrances and exits of the neighboring towns of Brital and Hourtala. They began executing rapid raid operations targeting the homes of several wanted individuals, during which intense clashes broke out, involving the firing of rocket-propelled grenades. This resulted in the injury of M.M.T., who was transported to a local hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
Additionally, an army patrol arrested 15 individuals for whom multiple warrants for drug offenses, theft, robbery, and armed robbery were issued. The units continue to carry out search operations while maintaining closures on the entrances and exits of the towns. The army command had announced via Twitter exceptional security measures in the Bekaa region and raid operations in Brital, alongside air force cooperation, during which one of the wanted individuals was killed. As of now, 15 individuals have been arrested during a rapid security operation being conducted by a large force of the army within the towns of Brital and Hourtala, which included intense clashes.
