The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced today, Saturday, that air strikes have been carried out in Northern Iraq, resulting in the destruction of 31 targets, including shelters, believed to have housed senior officials of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). Since April 2022, the Turkish military has been conducting Operation "Claw Lock" against the Kurds in the Metina, Zap, and Avashin-Basyan regions of Northern Iraq.
