Ukrainian electricity network operator "Ukrenergo" indicated today, Thursday, that "the cold weather has increased electricity consumption by 2.7 percent above expected levels, resulting in a shortfall being addressed through imports from Poland, Slovakia, and Romania." The company stated that "700 megawatts of power will flow into Ukraine from neighboring countries, starting from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM local time (09:00 to 17:00 GMT)."
