Putin to Visit Beijing for Meeting with Chinese President

Interfax news agency reported that the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, said today, Tuesday, that President Vladimir Putin will travel to Beijing in October for discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Patrushev stated during a meeting in Moscow with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, "We look forward to comprehensive bilateral talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing in October." He added that Putin will participate in the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing at Xi's invitation.
