Patrushev stated during a meeting in Moscow with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, "We look forward to comprehensive bilateral talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing in October." He added that Putin will participate in the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing at Xi's invitation.
