Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee reported that an Israeli warplane intercepted a cruise missile launched toward Israeli territory. He stated, "Following the alerts in the Eilat area regarding an incursion by an enemy aerial object, a fighter jet intercepted a cruise missile that was fired toward Israeli territory. The threat did not breach Israeli sovereignty."
Later, Israeli media noted that "the intercepted cruise missile, which was detected after alarms were sounded in Eilat, was launched from Yemen."
