Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Receives Iranian Shura Council President

The Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received the President of the Shura Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, accompanied by the Speaker of the Federal National Council, Saqr Ghobash. The two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the UAE and the Islamic Republic of Iran and ways to enhance them in various aspects, particularly parliamentary fields that serve the common interests of the two countries and their peoples. The meeting also discussed the important role of parliaments in fostering cooperation, understanding, and closeness between nations, highlighting the parliamentary relations between the Federal National Council and the Iranian Shura Council. Several members of the Federal National Council and the accompanying delegation of the President of the Shura Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran attended the meeting.
