The British government will provide Ukraine with over 70 combat and logistical vehicles, thousands of rounds for "Challenger 2" tanks, and a support package of $64.7 million for repairing military equipment. In addition to this support package, Britain will also launch a project through NATO to establish a medical rehabilitation center for Ukrainian soldiers, funded by the comprehensive aid package allocated by the alliance to Ukraine.
NATO leaders are holding a summit in Vilnius as the Ukrainian counteroffensive against Russian forces falters. Members of the G7 are expected to sign a new framework agreement on Wednesday, which will offer Ukraine long-term bilateral security commitments, with details to be announced later.
