Slight Drop in Wall Street Stock Indices

U.S. stocks fell at the open today, Monday, ahead of core inflation data and comments from policymakers at the Federal Reserve this week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 13.71 points, or 0.04%, to 35,376.44 points. The S&P 500 index fell by 4.48 points or 0.1% to 4,554.86 points, while the Nasdaq Composite declined by 11.55 points or 0.08% to 14,239.31 points.
